We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Digital Marketing Executive, who’s had experience with Paid Social, to join Iceland’s growing Online Team at Iceland Foods Ltd Head Office.  

Engaging our customers and producing effective advertising, whatever the objective, is a key part of Icelands marketing mix, and we’re looking for a candidate who lives and breathes digital marketing to join the team.

Our ideal candidate is passionate about what’s going on across all the major platforms, is proactive and curious and understands why one size doesn’t fit all when it comes to social advertising and the wider digital marketing landscape.

You will have knowledge of all paid social media platforms and experience of all stages of the digital marketing cycle and will be confident in building business cases, briefing creative then tracking and reporting on success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop the paid social media strategy in line with overall marketing activity.
  • Work through the funnel from broad reach, to consideration to conversion and retargeting.
  • Improve the paid social media performance by suggesting and implementing tests on new creative, targeting and landing pages, regularly communicating results to key stakeholders.
  • Co-ordinate, monitor and manage paid social activity by collaborating with relevant teams across the business, maintaining campaign assets and promotions to ensure maximum cross channel efficiencies
  • Measure and produce reports on paid social media performance using relevant KPIs and ensuring campaigns are in line with budget.
  • Get involved with the wider team to provide insight and learnings from testing conducted through paid social.
  • Acquire insight into digital marketing trends, new technology and competitor activity.
  • Ability to pass skill on throughout the team.

 

Skills and Experience

  • Be able to communicate and demonstrate passion for social media and digital marketing.
  • Experience in running paid social media campaigns.
  • Skills and experience in briefing compelling creative content.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills with experience in analysing complex data.
  • Good team player with a sense of ownership and responsibility and an understanding of their impact on achieving success.
  • Excellent organisational, time-management and interpersonal skills as well as strong attention to detail are mandatory requirements.
