The purpose of this role is to use our customer data to create insight led campaigns and innovation across our current customer base. You will provide insight into what is driving customers behaviour and highlight risks or opportunities to the buisness. You’ll work closely with the customer team to identify, cost, prioritise and deliver a wide range of analysis projects to the business.

Day to day activities:

  • Analysis of a broad range of data from the business focused on the customer but including product and store.
  • Using insight from our data to make recommendations for change within the business.
  • Maintaining customer related databases and reporting suites to enable the CRM to interpret insights, identify opportunities and react efficiently.
  • Identifying opportunities and deliver actionable insight to help direct the customer team.
  • Providing robust accurate reporting of business information to the business within agreed timescales.
  • Providing an independent view on the effectiveness of all business initiatives and make recommendations for considerations.
  • Challenge were appropriate to ensure Iceland is maximising best value from any investments that we make.
  • Using all available data to make conclusions on business performance that will help influence decisions on how we improve our trading proposition.
  • Building and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business.

 Skills required:

  • Excel, SQL and SAS knowledge.
  • Statistical modelling experience.
  • Accurate with a keen eye for the detail.
  • Ability to present complex information in a simple and effective way.
