We are looking for Accounts Assistants to join us in Deeside. You will be working at Iceland Head Office, but you will be a member of the Individual Restaurant Group brand.
Purpose of the role:
- To deal with cash sheets and the reconciliation of sales
- Support the maintaining of the fixed asset register on SAP and posting of depreciation on a monthly basis
- Supporting the launch and roll out of Insight (Supplier portal), be first point of contact for suppliers promoting the use of Insight and its benefits.
- Support the delivery and introduction of SAP purchase orders for all overhead/GNFR suppliers.
- Deal with ad-hoc site queries.
- Complete bank and deposit reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:
- To undertake accounts tasks within the team to ensure departmental deadlines are met.
- To ensure cash sheets are processed weekly and accurately to agreed timescales.
- To promote the use of Insight supplier portal with suppliers and internal departments
- To investigate site queries and ensure they are resolved efficiently.
- To identify key business partners and create strong working relationships.
- To take responsibility for reconciliation of the fixed asset register.
- Any other ad hoc requirements as specified by the Team Manager.
Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite
- Team Player
- Basic accounting knowledge
- SAP knowledge
