Purpose of the role:
As a Security Officer you will be responsible for maintaining the security of personnel and property at Iceland Head Office in Deeside, within the depot and at various offsite locations. The Security Officer will need to ensure secure entry and exit of all visitors to the Deeside depot.
Key Accountabilities:
- Monitor internal and external CCTV
- Monitor cold store temperature and gas alarms
- Monitor head office and depot fire alarm system
- Control access to Deeside head office and depot
- Monitor external intruder alarm systems
- Provide out of hours point of contact for head office and depot
- Maintain required logbooks and registers
- Escalate emergency procedures
Essential Criteria:
- Computer literate
- Experience of operating CCTV equipment
- Full driving licence
- Excellent communication skills
- First Aid would be advantageous
Shift Pattern:
7 sets of 2-day shifts (07:00 – 19:00) followed by 2-night shifts (19:00 – 07:00) Followed by 4 rest days
After the 7th set: 4 rest days followed by 14 days holiday.
The 7 set sequence repeats 5 time per year.
