Purpose Of Role

Supply Planners are responsible for managing product areas that deliver c.£3m sales per week across c.200 products for our 1000 Iceland and Food Warehouse stores.
Working collaboratively with internal colleagues and our supplier base to ensure the best On-shelf and Online customer availability in our stores.
Responsibilities will include
- Forecasting and ordering stock into our distribution centres and stores to achieve the right stock in the right place at the right time.
- Forecasting future sales requirements to ensure continuous supply and clearly communicating volume requirements to suppliers.
- Anticipating and communicating factors that will influence sales such as seasonal events, weather and promotions.
- Ensuring that stock levels are both accurate and appropriate and do not create excessive wastage.
- Communicating accurate and timely information to relevant stakeholders.
Essential Criteria
- The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a positive attitude, clear thinking, common sense and a desire to achieve the best results possible
- The ability to work under pressure, multitask and be able to prioritise workload.
- A self-starting attitude with customer service a priority at all times.
- Strong communication and problem solving skills with Excel knowledge an added advantage.
