Iceland's IT Department are looking for a driven Business Analyst who can effectively liaise across IT and business departments in the coordination and gathering of requirements.
Purpose of Role
The role of a Business Analyst (BA) Include identifying Iceland’s Objectives and problems, understanding business requirements from the relevant dept and stakeholders, offering unique and feasible solutions to problems, providing feedback on implementation, gauging functional and non-functional requirements. A BA also conducts research, data analysis, testing and documentation to support the delivery of business solutions.

Key Accountabilities
Below is a list of activities for which the Business Analyst is responsible for performing within a given system or business area.
- Gathering, producing and analysing the business requirements from the stakeholders
- Translating the business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications for the technical teams
- Creating and maintaining various documents, such as business cases, user stories, use cases, wireframes, data models, and test cases
- Validating and verifying the solutions against the requirements and make sure they meet the quality standards
- Assisting in the communication and relationship between the business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Conducting user acceptance testing and providing feedback and support to the users
- Evaluating the outcomes and benefits of the solutions and providing recommendations for improvement

KPIs
Manage and keep up to date individual project documentation to include the following, if applicable:
- Detailed business requirements
- Turning business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications
- To assist internal teams/depts. When gathering their requirements, understanding the business process
- Periodic Reporting for the IT leadership team
- Relevant project documentation and user guides
