Data Scientist - Delivery Network

PURPOSE OF ROLE:
Maximise our online and home delivery opportunities by creating and maintaining a new store specific operating model to ensure we’re offering our customers what they want, when they want it as efficiently as possible.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Create an agile and robust store specific model for the generation of online and home delivery windows.
- Determine store specific attributes that are data driven to maximise our estate capacity.
- Work with the online website development team and align to their testing processes, etc.
- New systems tested and aligned with existing processes and tools according to development team processes.
- Manage essential weekly reporting monitoring individual store and slot performance.
- Technical development will be supported via the Web Development team.
KEY SKILLS
- Skilled in R or Python or similar language.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, advanced Excel desirable.
- Strong communicator both verbally and written.
- Good attention to detail.
- Sense of urgency and pace in managing their workload.
- Proactive approach in dealing with problems and queries in a busy and fast paced environment.
- Ability to identify areas for process improvements and enhancements and implement new workflows.
- Ability to work effectively with key stakeholders across the business.
