About the Role

Are you passionate about retail space planning and driving sales through smart store layouts? We’re looking for a Floor Planner to join our dynamic team at Iceland. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of shaping our in-store experience—ensuring every square metre works harder for our customers and our business.

You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues across Merchandising, Buying, Format Development, and Estates to deliver accurate, customer-focused floor plans that maximise sales and efficiency. From new store openings to refits and range reviews, your work will directly impact how our customers shop and how our stores perform.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver accurate and sales-driven floor plans across our store estate.
  • Analyse store-specific data to optimise space and category flow.
  • Support major projects including new store openings, refits, and estate relays.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on space strategy.
  • Visit stores regularly to validate plans and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Use CAD tools to design layouts and maintain up-to-date store plans.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on macro and midi space analysis.
  • Champion the customer and store teams in every space decision.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with a keen eye for detail.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all levels.
  • Experience in retail merchandising or store management or supervisor level.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Experience with CAD or store layout software is a plus.

Why Join Us?

At Iceland, we’re more than just a retailer—we’re a team that’s passionate about innovation, customer experience, and making a difference. You’ll be part of a supportive and collaborative environment where your ideas and insights are valued.

Ready to shape the future of our stores? Apply now and be part of something special.
