The Role

We’re searching for a committed and passionate Recruitment Partner to join our growing business. In this role, you’ll manage the full recruitment process for roles across head office and retail management, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and stakeholders. You’ll also support ad-hoc recruitment projects, playing a key part in shaping our recruitment strategy and driving the continued growth of our business.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Manage sourcing and first-stage recruitment for Store Manager roles, supporting line managers through final assessments.
  • Provide expert recruitment advice to stores and stakeholders to ensure efficient business delivery.
  • Produce regular recruitment reports to help managers and HRBPs plan current and future activity.
  • Organise and support assessment processes for internal and external candidates for key roles.
  • Maintain proactive communication with candidates and external partners, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Handle salary discussions fairly and professionally.
  • Work on targeted recruitment initiatives as directed by the Talent & Recruitment Manager.
  • Coordinate and deliver Development Centres to support internal talent progression.
  • Lead recruitment for new store openings and coordinate assessment centres for store-level colleagues.
  • Bring fresh, practical ideas that reflect our brand and enhance recruitment processes.
  • Support and coach line managers to make the right hiring decisions for Iceland and The Food Warehouse.
  • Use all available platforms to attract top talent.
  • Accurately manage recruitment processes using our Applicant Tracking System.
  • Promote job opportunities and our employer brand across social channels.
  • Act on feedback from candidates and managers to improve recruitment practices.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in fast-paced in-house or agency recruitment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of ATS systems and social media recruitment strategies.
  • A proactive, innovative approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
